Boy George is currently on bail while London police are investigation accusations that he kidnapped a male escort and chained him to a wall in his London home. Auden Carlsen, 28, claimed he was grabbed by the singer and an accomplice and chained up after Boy George met him on the website Gaydar, and Carlsen agreed to go to his flat as a paid photographic model. Carlsen said he feared for his life when Boy George pounced on him and tied him up.
“I was convinced I was going to die,” he said. “George handcuffed me to a hook by the bed as they held me down.”
Carlsen claims he escaped by pulling the hook from the wall and running to a local newsagent's at 6:30 AM Saturday, where he finally alerted police.
I don't know what Boy George has been up to since his Culture Club days, but I can guess that this little episode won't help his career too much. On the other side, at least this is something that you would expect Boy George to do, and maybe, just maybe, it makes him resemble a sane human being.

Hasselbeck's news is the second big announcement for The View in as many weeks: On Wednesday, cohost Rosie O'Donnell revealed that she will be leaving the show at the end of the season.

Former American Idol contestant Jessica Sierra becomes the latest mug shot on the list of young, female celebrities thrown in jail. The twenty-one-year old was arrested around 2 a.m. Sunday while out partying with friends at the Hyde Park Cafe in South Tampa. Police say Sierra smashed a heavy glass over a man’s head, causing a gash right above his eye.
“Officers were able to talk to the victim and the suspect, and discovered they had some sort of heated exchange and at some point Jessica Sierra threw a cocktail glass at the victim,” says Tampa Police Department Public Information Officer Andrea Davis. Police are unsure what provoked the fight, but sources tell FOX 13 News the man may have spit on Sierra. Whatever the cause, police charged the former American Idol contestant with aggravated battery with a deadly weapon, and after she was taken to jail deputies say they found cocaine in her purse.
Sierra rose to national fame in 2005, making it to the final ten of the American Idol competition. Then she returned to real life, far from the bright lights of Hollywood. But she never gave up her goal of becoming a country music star.
Sierra has been charged with aggravated battery with a deadly weapon, possession of cocaine and introduction of contraband into a detention facility. She was released Sunday morning on an $11,500 bond.
Sources have identified Roseanne Barr as the top contender to replace Rosie O'Donnell on The View. Other contenders include Joan Rivers, Whoopi Goldberg, Kathie Lee Gifford and Connie Chung.
"They're missing strong personalities on that show, and that's what they're going to need if they want to keep it going," an ABC staffer close to the situation told the Post. "It's going to be hard for them to follow Rosie," says an industry insider. "Roseanne could be the only one capable of pulling it off."
I don't know who is responsible for scouting replacements for The View but apparently the main requirement is that you have to be a fat, annoying, lesbian-esque woman. Or maybe just someone who is fat and annoying. They could probably hire a Tasmanian devil to replace Rosie O'Donnell and it would be less annoying.Source

After appearing in a post on Perez Hilton, Alexa Ray Joel, daughter of Billy Joel and Christie Brinkley, bites back on her MySpace blog.
YES, my mom and I look completely different, and I'm OK with that. I like that I look unique, or more "exotic"--I don't want to look like everybody else, and I also don't want to look like a supermodel--I just want to look like ME!
When my mom saw that Perez Hilton thing, she was like, "OK, what's his point?--I have hundreds of bad pictures taken of me, and I'm a supermodel! Should I release them to the media so everyone can see that NOBODY is perfect?"
I must say, I think this Perez Hilton guy is quite dangerous because has actually made a BUSINESS out of calling people fat, ugly whores!
