Patrick Swayze wants to be a "Rap Star"

Actor, dancer, and 80's heartthrob Partick Swayze is hoping to add "rap star" to his resume. The Dirty Dancer has teamed up with hip-hop artist Antonius Maximus on an as-yet-unnamed track that sampled Swayze's 1987 radio hit "She's Like the Wind" featuring updated vocals from the B-movie icon. "Rap rythms are an emotional undercurrent for ballads," Swayze told Blender. "We've already played it in a few clubs in L.A. and San Francisco, and the crowds went wild."

The Ghost star is already a part of the rap lexicon. Sir Mix-A-Lot namechecked the star in his 1992 song "Swap Meet Louie" ("I'm rockin' more fools than Partick Swayze"), and the recent SNL short film "Lazy Sunday" spit the lines "Throw the snacks in the bag and I'm ghost like Swayze."
