Denise Told Heather that she was in love with her hubby
Actress Denise Richards reportedly called a summit meeting with longtime pal and neighbor Heather Locklear to reveal she was in love with the latter's estranged husband. The star, who is in the middle of a bitter divorce from Charlie Sheen, met up with Locklear days before going public with her Richie Sambora romance, according to In Touch magazine.
Hollywood gossips claim the Sambora/Richards romance has ended the friendship between the two actresses, who spent New Year's Eve together at a concert - without their husbands. The publication also claims Richards may have been instrumental in prompting Locklear to divorce her husband after 11 years of marriage. A friend tells In Touch, "She was the one who told Heather to file for divorce."
Locklear and Richards first became friends in 2001 when the former "Bond" girl joined Sheen and Locklear in a "Spin City" episode. Last year, Denise was one of just six women Heather invited to share her 44th birthday celebration at restaurant Koi in Los Angeles. The two actresses are set for an awkward time of it in the coming weeks and months - they are neighbors in Westlake Village, Calif.
