Chad Michael Murray banned from high school Prom

One Tree Hill star Chad Michael Murray couldn't wait to escort his new fiancée, Kenzie Dalton, to her senior prom. But the 24-year-old actor was crushed when officials at John T. Hoggard High School in Wilmington, N.C., would not permit him to attend the dance on the arm of his 18-year-old bride-to-be because of his age. "The school has a policy that no one over 20 is allowed to attend the prom," says an insider. "And even though a person can request to attend via a written letter to the administration, Chad was told that he was not allowed to go." Although Kenzie went to the prom solo, Chad managed to make up for his absence in other ways.
