Richie and AM Break Up....No seriously

This is getting confusing, frist heard they broke up then Lionel started saying, "no they are getting married." Well looks like Lionel was wrong. The pair, who called off their engagement last December, had reunited in recent months and on Saturday the socialite's singer father Lionel Richie claimed marriage was imminent. He said, "Of course I am going to be (at the wedding) for her, and I'll be singing - there's no way I couldn't. I'm really happy that it's working out for her." But the couple have issued a joint statement, released by Richie's publicist Cindy Guagenti, that reads, "We are confirming that we have amicably separated."
