Kristin Still Waiting for her Big Break

According to the NY Post: Kristin Cavallari of Laguna Beach will not play young Daisy Duke in the prequel to The Dukes of Hazzard, the New York Post reports. Producers were considering 19-year-old Cavallari for the role immortalized by Jessica Simpson, 25, last year. It seems that Maxim model and Deal or No Deal briefcase-opener April Scott has been cast in the role. Cavallari shouldn’t feel too bad, though. The movie is a straight-to-DVD release.
