Jessica and Mayer are said to have been getting nice and cozy in top nightspots. The couple were spotted over the weekend in Beverly Hills, enjoying a night out on the town together. Sources say the two were awfully close at the Sunset Marquis hotel and the Four Seasons, where Jessica was seen snuggling her head on Mayer's comfy chest. A source e-mailed E!'s Marc Malkin on Saturday night with the details, saying, "Jessica Simpson is at the bar at the Four Seasons [hotel] with John Mayer. She totally had her head on his chest, and now they are canoodling." The musical duo were then seen leaving the lavish resting place in a large group.

Jessica and Mayer may be enjoying each other's company more than we thought, but they're definitely staying quiet about their potentially blossoming romance. Jessica probably wants to make sure she doesn't scare Mayer off! According to E! Online, Jessica's representative has refused to confirm the new relationship, saying the stunning blonde is "not commenting on her personal life."
