"They want you to take off your clothes all the time (for roles) when you're younger," actress Jessica Alba told women trying to break into film and television on Tuesday. "I WON'T DO THAT."

Jessica Alba was the lone actress on a panel of women from various sectors of the entertainment business who took part in an informal question-and-answer session about the industry at the Regent Beverly Wilshire Hotel. The seven panelists discussed topics ranging from the advantages of film school, to balancing filmmaking and single motherhood, to their own early role models.

Alba said her immediate goals involved segueing into producing and headlining a film without a male co-star.

The current issue of Us Weekly reports:

“The video is obviously about him and Jessica,” a close source tells Us. In the video, with MTV VJ Vanessa Minnillo standing in for Simpson, Lachey sings in a house quite similar to the Calabasas, California, home they shared during the three seasons of Newlyweds: Nick & Jessica. Lachey watches as the objects of their life together gradually disappear around him. In the end, even Minnillo has vanished into the shadows. “The song is all about changes,” Minnillo, 25, host of Total Request Live, tells Us. “Nick is so strong. He’s really putting himself out there as a musician.”

The video, which began shooting yesterday, is expect to start airing in late April.

Is Jessica Simpson overextending herself? Sure, but in a good way. Well, Jess is going into the hair extension business. I'm told she and her omnipresent hair man, Ken Paves, are collaborating on a line of hair extensions.

"They are going to have a rainbow of colours and styles," a source close to the Texan beauty tells me. "There will be Jessica's signature blond, but also dark locks like Ashlee. There will be different price points, too."

Look for Jessica Hair Extensions to hit stores this summer. With her own clothing, shoe, makeup and now hair extension lines, expect to see plenty of Jessica Simpson drag queens come Halloween.

Jennifer Aniston is reportedly quitting Hollywood. The former 'Friends' beauty is allegedly moving to Chicago with new love Vince Vaughn because she's so sick of being hounded by the press. The actress is said to hope relocating will help her escape the constant gossip surrounding her split from Brad Pitt and his new romance with Angelina Jolie.

Jennifer - who fell for Chicago when she visited while filming 'The Break Up' - is in the process of selling the 15 million Beverly Hills love nest she shared with Pitt. She said: "It makes sense for me to leave. I can live outside Los Angeles and fly in for work." A friend is quoted in Britain's The Sun newspaper as saying: "She wants to make a fresh start in Chicago with Vince."

Earlier this week, it was revealed Jennifer had donated Pitt's clothes to charity. The star was reportedly spotted dumping sacks of her ex-husband's designer togs at a second-hand store in California. A source revealed: "When a woman in the shop realised that it was Jennifer Aniston, she went over to see what she'd left. "But it was too late because a worker who didn't recognize Jen had already dumped the clothes in a bin mixed with lots of others."

Rumors Continue: Reese and Ryan on the rocks?

THE RUMOR: Reese Witherspoon wants another baby to save her marriage. Witherspoon has been open that her marriage to Ryan Phillippe has not always been smooth sailing over the years. The couple has seen a marriage counselor to try and patch up their differences. Phillippe once said, "The biggest mistake is not doing therapy, ignoring it, and having the marriage fall apart because of laziness. Sources say Reese has expressed concern lately over Ryan's partying -- partying without her. And, we're told, Reese believes children help cement relationships.

Hollywood is littered with young celebrities who marry, and then one shoots to superstardom, leaving the other in the dust. Reese's meteoric rise to command $29 million per movie has taken its toll. Sources around town, especially in Malibu, say that Ryan does some serious flirting. A photographer snapped a shot of Phillippe with an extra during a break from the set of Clint Eastwood's 'Flags of Our Fathers,' which is shooting now. We're told the photos upset Reese.

Reese is not looking for a blockbuster starring role to follow her Oscar-winning performance in 'Walk the Line.' Instead, she's looking at supporting roles, which would allow her to spend more time with her family. She's currently playing second seat to Christina Ricci in the indie fairytale, 'Penelope,' which is currently filming in London.

More to the point, Phillippe is undeniably a good father to their two children, Ava, 6, and Deacon, 2. Reese has privately confided in friends that expanding her family is more important to her than a career.

Hotel heiresses Paris and Nicky Hilton are making a cartoon TV show about their lives, in the style of The Simpsons. The American siblings have spoken to Interscope boss Ted Fields, who will make the series and hope to air it on US television. Paris, who is currently the star of reality TV show The Simple Life, is also on the verge of releasing a pop career.

Cameras caught 'Laguna Beach' star Kristin Cavallari returning home yesterday and refusing to answer questions about her rumored new beau, Nick Lachey. According to TMZ sources, Kristin was coming back from Nick's new Bel Air mansion.

When the camera man asked Kristin directly, "When are you going to see Nick again?" Kristin replied, "I'm not going to talk to you about that." Several of Nick's friends tell TMZ that they're worried Kristin is using the pop star to further her own career. Last week, Kristin guest-starred on an episode of the UPN show, 'Veronica Mars.' Singer Nick Lachey has moved on from his separation with wife Jessica Simpson he has bought a new house from supermodel Heidi Klum and husband Seal and a new dog. Nick recently splurged on a cliffside home in the posh Los Angeles suburb of Bel-Air costing him only $5.5 million. Lachey's new bachelor pad has four bedrooms, a pool, a recording studio, and it's just down the road from the Bel-Air Country Club, where he's an active member.

"Schizophrenic Scientologist kills mother"

The battle between Tom Cruise and Scientology and its foes is heating up. Cruise and Scientology have been in the news lately because of an allegedly censored “South Park” parody of the religion — and now Scientology and the “Top Gun” star are being blamed for a woman’s death.

“Thanks, Tom Cruise and the Church of Scientology, for your expert advice on mental health,” blasts an ad in LA Weekly. The ad goes on to say that a woman was killed “by the schizophrenic son she was told to treat with vitamins instead of psychiatric care.”

The ad refers readers to a Web site, which provides details on the case of Jeremy Perkins, a 28-year-old schizophrenic who stabbed his mother to death. Perkins was a staunch Scientologist and his mother was a counselor in the church — which opposes psychiatry and psychiatric drugs and “believes modern psychiatric medicine derives from an ancient alien civilization’s plot to drug and enslave humanity,” notes the site.

A spokesman for the Celebrity Center of the Church didn’t respond to requests for comment by deadline.

The beautiful actress, 19, was apparently asked personally by the label's creative director, Marc Jacobs, to represent his latest collection in a glamorous deal which industry insiders say could be worth millions. The actress, who is trying to cultivate a more mature image and leave her teen Queen roots behind, follows in the footsteps of screen stars Uma Thurman, Christina Ricci and Selma Blair, who have all starred in ad campaigns for the French luxury goods brand. Friends say that Lohan is a long-time fan of the brand, and is very excited by the offer.
