Mel Gibson left Malibu's Moonshadows restaurant in the wee hours of Friday morning, he walked past the valet attendant with his head down, hands behind his back and uttered "I'm f****d up." Gibson, who had not valeted, then crossed the street to his car, pulled out, made a u-turn and proceeded to step on the gas, driving past Moonshadows at a fast speed.

Shortly thereafter, Gibson was arrested for driving 87 mph in a 45-mph zone with a blood-alcohol level of 0.12 (the state limit is 0.08). The valet says the deputy who pulled Gibson over was actually driving in the opposite direction as the actor, but made a u-turn when Gibson flew by. In Touch Weekly obtained pictures of Gibson partying with fans at Moonshadows hours before being arrested.

'Queer Eye' Canceled

Groundbreaking reality make-over show Queer Eye For The Straight Guy has been canceled after three seasons - but the stars of the show insist they are still a huge hit with celebrities. The show features five gay men who make-over unstylish straight men each week on the Bravo network, and since hitting the screen the camp stylists have been asked to revamp the homes of stars including Jennifer Lopez. Queer Eye member Jai Rodriguez says the show won't be returning for another season, explaining, "Well, we haven't been asked back for 2007. It's only been three years, but it feels like so much more due to the overexposure. I started when I was 23. In that first year, I was on Oprah's couch. I was on Ellen (Degeneres). People recognized me. J. Lo is a huge fan of ours. (Queer Eye member) Thom Filicia just re-did her house." The show recently broke new ground again by making over Miles, a transgendered man. Rodriguez adds, "Maybe this is how we are going out with a bang. Everyone (in the group) has big new projects. I'm working on a TV show and a movie in the fall. We just had a tour of the Philippines. We are huge there. Like Michael Jackson in 1983."

Shannen Sues over False Plastic Surgery Allegations!

It's one thing to read about the plastic surgery you've had done in the papers. And quite another to read about it when you haven't even had any... Such was the case for former Beverly Hills 90210 star Shannen Doherty, who burst into tears when she read a magazine article which claimed she'd gone under the knife. The 35-year-old was appalled to see the front cover of US mag Star, which featured her face and the headline Extreme Makeover. She has now hired a lawyer and is suing the publication. Appearing as a guest co-host on US talk show The View, she was asked if she had ever had surgery.

Shannen replied: "No. I'm actually willing to go so far as to go sit down with whatever plastic surgeon they want to put in front of me who can inspect my face." It was Shannen's hairdresser who actually brought the article to her attention. The actress was so distraught that production of her new series Breaking Up With Shannen Doherty, had to be stopped. She explained: "Production got halted for about an hour and a half because I was sobbing uncontrollably. If you didn't have it (plastic surgery) and they're saying that you did, then it's embarrassing, it's humiliating. "I hired a litigator and I'm willing to put as much money behind a lawsuit as humanly possible, just to sort of teach them a lesson."

Mel Gibson in firestorm of bad publicity

Getting drunk and mouthing off is nothing new in Hollywood, but Mel Gibson's weekend arrest has plunged him into a crisis that few could have imagined two years ago.

Back then he described himself as a filmmaker guided by the Holy Spirit on his surprise blockbuster The Passion of the Christ, saying he hoped the film had "the power to evangelize." But that image has been shattered by news of his drunken-driving arrest Friday and the anti-Semitic and sexually insulting remarks attributed to him. The Associated Press reports that an official police report substantiates claims that Gibson made the remarks and threatened a deputy.

Many say Gibson will have to explain his comments beyond his publicist-released statement, which implied that his rant was just the booze talking. And some in the entertainment industry are calling for a boycott.

ROCK!!!," Anderson described the "rock 'n' roll" wedding as, "The best most romantic wedding of all time." She said she will be releasing pictures from the wedding on her Web site soon. At the ceremony, the bride wore white -- a white string bikini, that is.

Scads of celebs were expected to watch the couple say their Bawitdabas -- or, rather, their "I do's" -- on the French Riviera, where Rock and Anderson rekindled their love affair earlier this month. They bumped into each other while Anderson was celebrating her 39th birthday, and they announced their engagement less than two weeks ago. The bad boy and the bombshell were originally engaged in 2002 but split the following year.

The wedding was Rock's first and Anderson's second. She was married to Motley Crue drummer Tommy Lee in 1995; incidentally, she wore a bikini to that wedding, too. And they're not done yet: Anderson said last week she is planning on having several wedding celebrations, including one in Detroit. No details of the ceremony are available yet. Dina Lohan, spoke exclusively to Access Hollywood's Billy Bush about the harsh letter Lindsay received from a studio executive and comes to her defense. The interview airs on Access Hollywood, Monday, July 31, 2006.

Earlier this week, Lindsay received a letter from the CEO of the production company on her current project, "Georgia Rule," scolding her for her "…irresponsible and unprofessional" actions. In response to the letter, Dina told Bush, "The wording was ridiculous." When asked if she thought the executive, James G. Robinson, was out of line and what brought on the unprecedented blast, Dina said, "I feel when you are 19 (years old) it is way out of line… Maybe he has personal issues with whomever and it came out with my child. I don't know him. I can't judge him. I don't think it was a smart thing to do to a young girl."

When asked if there was any truth to claims in the letter, Dina came to her daughter's defense saying, "Lindsay was in 105 (degree weather) saying, 'Mommy, I feel sick; like I am going to faint.' She took herself to the hospital. She has asthma and in extreme cold or heat you can't breathe." Dina added, "…I'm a mother and will do what I need to do to protect my child…I don't feel it should be aired out and everyone should know. It's personal."<

When asked about accusations in the letter that Lindsay's "…ongoing all night heavy partying" was responsible for her not showing up on set, Dina said, "Lindsay gets to work late, OK… She's a human being. There was one day when she was late and they worked the schedule around her. Garry (Marshall, the film's director), Jane (Fonda, her co-star), everybody loves her."


In regards to Lindsay's status, Dina told Access Hollywood, "As far as Lindsay's health is concerned, she's fine and she is back on set." Dina added to Bush, "She will win an Academy Award for this picture… Justice!"

Lohan's in Big Trouble! Movie boss warns actress over "so called" exhaustion, heavy partying

Lindsay Lohan's hard-partying antics and recent bout of "heat exhaustion" has left one Hollywood big shot steamed, The Smoking Gun has learned. In a blistering July 26 letter to the 20-year-old actress, James G. Robinson, who heads the L.A. firm producing Lohan's current movie, calls her recent erratic behavior "discourteous, irresponsible and unprofessional." Robinson, the 70-year-old chief executive of Morgan Creek Productions, writes that Lohan has "acted like a spoiled child and in doing so have alienated many of your co-workers and endangered the quality" of "Georgia Rule," a movie now being filmed and which stars Lohan, Jane Fonda, and Felicity Huffman. A copy of Robinson's letter--which was delivered to Lohan at the Chateau Marmont hotel--can be found below. A Morgan Creek official confirmed to TSG that the missive was sent to Lohan and her various representatives earlier this week. Robinson notes that while Lohan's aides have chalked up her lateness and absences to illness, he is "well aware that your ongoing all night heavy partying is the real reason for your so called 'exhaustion.'" Noting that Morgan Creek refuses to "accept bogus excuses for your behavior," Robinson warns Lohan that she will be held "personally accountable" for losses caused by her actions. Claiming that Lohan's behavior has already "resulted in hundreds of thousands of dollars in damage," Robinson hints at possible legal action against the actress unless she begins honoring her production commitments. He concludes, "I urge you to take this letter seriously and conduct yourself professionally."

Jessica Changes Album Cover

Last week the cover art for the CD surfaced showing a sultry Jessica with her hair down, sporting a strapless dress. But it looks like the Simpson camp changed their mind and decided to go with more of a girl-next-door look. Jessica's rep Rob Shuter tells TMZ the final decision on a cover had not been made by the time one had to be provided to Jess' record label, so the first cover option (of three choices they had) was given. British singer Seal has announced the sex of the child wife Heidi Klum is currently expecting. Seal made the revelation whilst onstage performing at a concert in Germany, saying that he was looking forward to the birth of "the little boy".

Prince & His Wife Are Divorcing

Prince and wife Manuela Testolini Nelson are divorcing.

Alan Eidsness, the lawyer representing Prince, confirms that a divorce action was filed at Minnesota's Hennepin County District Court on May 24. The documents are sealed.

Prince (full name: Prince Rogers Nelson), 48, and Testolini Nelson, 29, a former employee at Prince's charitable foundation, were married in 2001. She took her husband's last name.

Testolini Nelson, a Toronto native, is the founder and president of Gamillah, Inc., which operates, among other ventures, a production company and a line of designer candles. She is also involved with nonprofits including YouthCARE and United Communities Against Poverty.

The heat wave is getting to Lindsay Lohan. "The Insider" has learned that the 20-year-old actress was taken by private car to an L.A. area hospital from the set of her new movie 'Georgia Rule.'

"She was overheated and dehydrated," Lohan's rep, Leslie Sloane-Zelnick, tells "The Insider"'s Marc Malkin.Sloane-Zelnick says the starlet spent a couple of hours in the hospital after being given a Vitamin B shot. "She was filming in 105-degree weather for 12 hours," she said.

Lohan is expected to return to the set "Georgia Rule" tomorrow. Her condition could not have been too serious as she was spotted out that very same night in Hollywood, somehow rehabilitated and ready to paint the town all over again. As this is not Lindsay’s first fatigue-related hospital visit, we thought we’d use our medical expertise provide you with this brief guide to better understanding the real meaning behind all these confusing Lohan health care terms:

Despite reports that Tori Spelling would inherit millions from her father’s $500 million estate, Us has learned exclusively that the actress, 33, will get just 0.16 % of the Spelling fortune. Tori’s share – a cash inheritance payment of $200,000, combined with approximately $600,000 in private investments her dad set up for her – is a brush-off Aaron Spelling would never have intended for his only daughter, says a family source.

“I believe Candy had a lot to do with what was left for Tori,” the source says of Tori’s mother, who is sole managing executor of the estate. (Candy’s rep had no comment.)

Britney went into false labor on July 15, according to In Touch Weekly, and now has her doctor on speed dial. “She's fine now,” a “family insider” told the mag. “Britney started cramping. She had a real scare.” Spears also had a few health scares during her first pregnancy.

Spears, who is seven months pregnant, learned that she needs to cut down on the Cheetos. “After indulging in junk food during her first two trimesters, she hired a nutritionist to help her follow a well-balanced diet, a “pal” told ITW. “She wasn't eating enough vegetables.” Spears’ doc also told her that she may have to spend the last month of her pregnancy on bed rest, but, says the friend, “Britney is determined to enjoy the rest of her pregnancy and stay healthy after she gives birth.”

Shiloh Nouvel Jolie-Pitt is to be the first child immortalised in wax by Madame Tussauds. The likeness of the two-month-old - already dubbed "the world's most famous baby" - will be unveiled at the New York branch of the world famous museums on Wednesday. According to Madame Tussauds, the waxwork will have her mother's "signature pouty lips and delicate features" and "will be displayed in an "African-themed nursery". Likenesses of Shiloh's parents, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, will stand overlooking the model.

Jessica Simpson will appear on the first episode of The View to star new cohost Rosie O'Donnell, on Sept. 5, PEOPLE has learned. "Rosie herself reached out to Jessica," says a source close to Simpson about the singer-actress's guest shot. The two have a long history together, going back to The Rosie O'Donnell Show, which aired from 1996-2002, when O'Donnell was riding the crest as TV's highly rated "Queen of Nice." "When Jessica was just starting out, none of the big shows were interested in her, but Rosie took a chance on her and Jessica never forgot it," says the source. It wasn't just a break that O'Donnell provided, but encouragement.

But the song that Lachey enjoyed the most was the Rocky theme, "Eye of the Tiger," which got him waving his arms and moving his head to the beat. Later, Lachey did shots with Wilmer Valderrama, who was holding court with friends including Erika Christensen. Finally, Lachey and Minnillo left at 3 a.m., holding hands.

A rep for Lachey had no comment.

Angelina Jolie, the tattooed actress and U.N. goodwill ambassador, is the new face of luxury apparel label St. John. Jolie also will be the voice behind the company’s new charity created in support of children’s issues and causes, it was announced Thursday. “Angelina Jolie embodies so many qualities of what St. John represents. She is strong, independent and dynamic. She’s a mother, actress and a philanthropist,” Richard Cohen, chief executive officer of St. John, said in a statement. St. John’s new advertising campaign with the 30-year-old actress, set to launch in spring 2006 publications, will be shot by photographer Mario Testino.

The ad campaign will “take inspiration from the company’s native California and will evoke a mood synonymous with effortless, Hollywood glamour,” the company said.

In a statement, Jolie said: “I am a working mother who has set goals to accomplish a lot in this world. I want my wardrobe to be beautiful, sexy and comfortable — all at the same time. St. John is all of those things.”

Hudson Wins "Eating Disorder" Libel Case

Kate Hudson has won a massive payout from the British edition of the National Enquirer after the publication falsely accused the naturally thin actress of having an eating disorder. Almost Famous star Hudson was described as "painfully thin" by the magazine last year , which also reported that her mother Goldie Hawn had begged her to eat more. However, after a successful libel case the star was yesterday awarded undisclosed damages for any distress the article may have caused, and granted an apology. Simon Smith, lawyer for Hudson, told the High Court in London his client refuted all claims in the article, saying, "Ms. Hawn has explained to me that she never had any concerns about her daughter's appearance whatsoever." He also noted discrepancies regarding Hudson's figure in other issues of the National Enquirer, which described her as "looking great" and "stunning" at the same weight. A relieved Hudson said after the judgment, "The allegations that I sued over were blatantly false - I could not stand by while such lies were being perpetrated about me."

Levin asked Hilton about such comments as, "Paris is just an overused human condom," "Paris is like a fart in a mitten. You know it's there, you can't stand it, but you can't get rid of it," and "Would you please drop over dead or commit suicide you damn slut."

Hilton said "I'm far less promiscuous than any of my friends." As for the infamous sex tape with ex-lover Rick Solomon, Hilton said "I'm judged because of something that an ex-boyfriend did to me. I'm not a slut at all." Hilton says that many of the TMZ comments are "very hurtful" to her and that some make her cry. She says "They think I don't have any feelings."

Osment, who was nominated for an Academy Award for his role as a boy who could see dead people in "The Sixth Sense," was driving a 1995 Saturn about 1 a.m. when the car collided with a brick pillar and flipped, said Los Angeles County sheriff's Lt. Greg Sisneros. The 18-year-old actor was awake and talking following the crash, Sisneros said. He had been alone in the car and was taken to Huntington Hospital in nearby Pasadena. Sisneros had no information on his condition, and an emergency-room receptionist said no one under that name was at the hospital.

Dave Navarro has slammed reports he already has a new girlfriend, less than 24 hours after he and wife Carmen Electra announced they were splitting. Internet reports on Tuesday linked the former Jane's Addiction guitarist with socialite Sarah Howard and claimed they were practically living together after secretly dating for five months.

Navarro has hit back at the rumors on this official blog, posting a message that said, "So, there are a few questions that I am willing to address. These I'll answer, but I am not taking any others. I figure it's better to say something here than anywhere else. Do you have a girlfriend? No. I have been living at home, touring, making and promoting a record or shooting Rockstar for the past several months. There is absolutely no way I could be living with someone in New York. What does amicably separated mean? It means that Carmen and I love each other, we are and always will be best friends. In fact, we are supporting each other through this time. What better way to get through a tough spot than with your best friend? And that's that. (For now)" The couple have been married since 2003 and starred in an MTV reality series which was based around their wedding ceremony.

Jessica Biel charity-auction date raises $30,000

Actress Jessica Biel raised $30,000 for a teen amputee by auctioning off a date. A date with Esquire's "The Sexiest Woman Alive" and 7th Heaven star Jessica Biel raised $30,000 to help a teenager who lost her leg in a prom night limousine accident. Denver television stations reported the winning bid came in from a man identified only as John. In all the event dubbed Mollypalooza to help Molly Bloom's family with medical expenses raised $38,000, organizers told the stations.

Bloom lost a leg and part of her pelvis in the May 13 accident and was undergoing rehabilitation at a Denver hospital. "(Biel) has this opportunity to create a buzz that would provide some support and she's more than happy to do that," Jon Biel, Biel's father told KMGH-TV. He said it was his daughter's idea to hold the auction for a lunch date.

The Mean Girls are Picking on Lindsay

Lindsay Lohan is having a Paris Hilton-esque problem, and her camp is suggesting Hilton may be behind it. This week, according to Lohan's rep, Leslie Sloane Zelnik, someone stole the password to her BlackBerry and sent her friends "disgusting and very mean messages that everyone thought were coming from Lindsay. They weren't. We now have her lawyers looking into it. Some people think Paris may have been involved because the wording of the messages sounds very familiar." Hilton had her own messaging incident two years ago when her T-Mobile was hacked into and her private messages were put on the Web - including ones saying [then married] Jessica Simpson had a crush on Justin Timberlake and that Us Weekly's Ken Baker was in her pocket. Not surprisingly, Hilton's rep, Elliot Mintz, denies she has anything to do with Lohan's BlackBerry and adds: "I'm saddened this happened to Lindsay. I lived through this with Paris two years ago when her Sidekick was hacked into, and the loss of privacy is unbearable. But as for any suggestion that Paris would have anything to do with this, that is silly, untrue and unfortunate.

Nervous Simpson Debuts Video on Vanessa Minillo's Show

A nervous Jessica Simpson appeared on MTV's TRL Wednesday to debut her new music video A Public Affair, but ex-husband Nick Lachye's new girlfriend Vanessa Minillo was noticeably absent. Producers of the show made sure Minnillo wasn't hosting when Simpson appeared in order to avoid an awkward encounter. Simpson still appeared uncomfortable and repeatedly messed up her lines while reading from the teleprompter and stumbled over words. After flubbing the show's email address, she blurted out to her MTV co-host, "Oh, my Lord! Tell me to breathe! Will you tell me to breathe?' before apologizing to the audience saying, "I'm sorry! I'm so nervous! I don't know why I'm so nervous!"

During the next segment, Simpson was asked if she would be willing to answer questions from the audience and she replied gratefully, "I would love that! It's better than reading a teleprompter!" After attempting to read the teleprompter one last time, an exasperated Simpson blurted out, "Oh, my God! I'm horrible at this! That's why I sing I guess!" The star had much better luck when she showed the audience the best ways to pose for the paparazzi and shared her favourite video clips, which included Britney Spears' I'm A Slave for You.

Nick Lachey Say's he is NOT in a new Relationship!

The pop singer - who recently divorced ex-wife Jessica Simpson - has recently been spotted cosying up to TV presenter Vanessa Minnillo. However, Nick insists he is single and says he doesn't have the time to have a girlfriend. He told More magazine: "I'm single. I don't even have time to do much - it's all about work." Nick, 32, also admits he is still struggling to get over his failed marriage. He said: "There are things every day that remind me of her. Like when I turn on the TV and 'Newlyweds' is on. I miss Jess, but I have to respect that the relationship is over." But despite pining for Jessica, Nick is hopeful he will find love again - one day He added: "I hope I'll find love again! I don't think there's a limit on how many times you can fall in love. No two situations are the same. For me it will happen when it's meant to."

Did Nicole Richie take that phrase “shop until you drop” too seriously?

The super-skinny reality show star reportedly fainted while doing a little retail therapy. Richie — who has admitted that she’s too thin but has denied that she has an eating disorder — collapsed while browsing at Kitson, a chic LA boutique, on July 15, according to Life & Style.

“She was looking through a rack of clothes when she suddenly fainted and hit the floor,” an “eyewitness” told the mag. “The staff helped her to a chair and offered her something to eat. She shot back, ‘No!’ and mumbled something about it being ‘so hot.’” Although Richie turned away food, she did accept a glass of water, reports the mag, and after about 20 minutes “was steady enough to leave.”

Jen Garner and Violet arrive in Boston

Jennifer Garner and Violet Anne, 7 1/2 months, arriving at Logan Airport in Boston by private plane on Tuesday evening. Jennifer and Violet had been in Arizona the past few days while shooting The Kingdom, but came home to visit Ben Affleck.  However, the attempt to leave the airport did not go as smoothly as everyone originally anticipated. According to the Boston Herald, Jen and Violet got into the SUV waiting to take them to Cambridge only to find that there was no carseat installed. Jen was apparently "adamant" that one be found, and "took the baby in the terminal and didn’t come out until someone returned with a seat...When the guy did come back with one, it took him about 20 minutes to figure out how to secure it. She wasn’t happy.”

Denise Richards is to bare all for charity. The former Bond girl - who previously stripped off for Playboy magazine in 2004 - will pose naked for the July issue of Jane to raise money for the Clothes Off Our Back foundation. She revealed: "I am not quite sure what I will be wearing. I think I will be wearing clear balloons. Jane has done this before, so I think it will be a pretty issue." Denise - who is currently dating rocker Richie Sambora - also insists she wasn't worried about shedding her clothes and instead of dieting for the shoot went on a romantic holiday.

Denise, the estranged wife of actor Charlie Sheen, said: "I ate my face off. I was in Europe having fun." The mother of two - who will feature in the No Prudes Allowed issue of Jane - has also revealed she gave advice to Brooke Shields after the birth of her child. She said in an interview with Entertainment Tonight: "I told Brooke she would lose the weight quickly the second time. I think it's due to having to chase a 1-year-old around." The Clothes Off Our Back foundation hosts numerous online auctions of celebrity outfits to benefit various children's charities.

Tina Simpson Calls the Shots!

Pop star Jessica Simpson's mom Tina has reportedly put a stop to a risque fashion shoot fearing its sexual overtones may taint her daughter's reputation. The shoot earlier this week (begs17JUL06) - which mimics a previous campaign starring British supermodel Kate Moss - would have seen the busty blonde posing in her underwear as a hunk buttoned up his trousers on a bed behind her. But worried this would create a bad image for her daughter, Tina demanded the male model keep his trousers on, shouting "Time out! Hold it. Nope, this isn't going to work." Simpson's manager-dad Joe allegedly disagreed with his wife's assessment but his confidence was ignored. A source tells OK! magazine, "Tina dug in her heels and said there was no way she'd allow Jess to appear in the layout the way it was designed. She said the pose was too risque and made Jessica look slutty. Joe was perplexed." Tina reassured him, saying "Trust me, I'm her mother. This isn't the image we want."

Dave Navarro and Tommy Lee Showing Some Love for each other....

Navarro is currently aiding the quest to find a lead singer to front Tommy Lee's new metal band, pulling TV duty as a cohost of CBS' Rock Star: Supernova.

But the newly single Navarro, 39, is not without a musical agenda of his own. The Panic Channel, the band he formed in 2004 with Skycycle singer-guitarist Steve Isaacs and fellow Jane's Addiction players Stephen Perkins and Chris Chaney, releases its debut album, ONe, on Aug. 15. The singles "Teahouse of the Spirits" and "Why Cry" showed up on iTunes in May.

It turns out that Hollywood’s top bombshell has been hiding a bombshell of her own: a July 29 wedding to on-again, off-again fiancé Kid Rock, aboard a yacht near St. Tropez. “They’ve been close for a very long time and decided that now is the right time to take the next step,” her rep confirms exclusively to Us. “They couldn’t be happier about their future together.”

Nick Lachey admits he doesn't understand women

The singer - who has been linked to a string of beautiful ladies since his divorce from Jessica Simpson was finalized - has revealed he is easily manipulated by the opposite sex. He told Glamour magazine: "Not only do I think women are from another planet but I'm not even sure where that planet is. We don't understand each other. "Women have the upper hand. They're all smarter. They can manipulate us in ways that we can never manipulate them."

Nick has also confessed he has not ruled out getting back together with Jessica, who he shot to fame with on their hit reality TV show 'Newlyweds'. He added: "I don't know if I want to get back with her. I have no way of telling what's going to happen. It will play out the way it's supposed to."
