He emerged on Monday looking healthier than ever But yesterday he was seen visiting a chemist in Dublin to buy two hypodermic needles. Pete was staying at the city’s Morrison Hotel with girlfriend Kate Moss. The supermodel joined him on his sell-out Irish tour, which ends tonight at the Heineken Festival in Waterford. But yesterday lunchtime, before a gig, he left Kate’s side to sneak out and buy his secret package. At 12.05pm he walked into Health Express chemist in Millenium Ways, Dublin, on his own. Wearing a scruffy white T-shirt and black suit, he left minutes later putting a bag containing two syringes into his top pocket. An hour after he sprinted back to the couple’s hotel suite, Kate left to catch a plane back to London.
This comes just days after Pete vowed to Kate he was clean from drugs and ready to marry her.
Jessica Simpson is not a happy camper lately - mentally or physically. During the after-party for her sister Ashlee's London debut in "Chicago," Simpson stormed out of the Sound Bar shouting, "I don't want to be here - why won't people just leave me alone?" Later, her dad Joe told the Mirror, "Jess is quite down at the moment. She's not comfortable talking to people as she's quite depressed and we're walking on eggshells." Meanwhile, at a recent shoot for a Direct TV commercial, Simpson kept everyone waiting for over an hour - due to a stomach bug, spies say. Her mane-man, hairdresser and constant companion Ken Paves, was overheard telling people, "Well, what do you want her to do? [Bleep] her pants?" But a rep for Simpson denied any physical ailment and said, "there was a minor delay but simply because her voice has not yet healed."
Hard Rock Cafe heir Harry Morton has left ex-girlfriend Lindsay Lohan's publicists red faced after admitting he and the party girl have split just days after they denied break-up reports were true. Morton and Lohan were said to have split after a fight at a club in Los Angeles last week and, despite publicists' desperate efforts to kill the story over the weekend, Morton has now confirmed he's no longer dating the actress/singer.
Speaking exclusively to US news show Extra, Morton has revealed, "We're just sort of taking a little breather right now and slowing things down." The restaurateur admits the pressure he felt following speculation he'd bought the Mean Girls star an engagement ring helped him make his decision. He adds, "A lot of people started saying we're engaged and it put a lot of pressure on things. We need a little space... I'm a very private person. I'm sure she (Lohan) has dealt with it (publicity) for years but it puts a lot of pressure on me.
Adam Brody and Rachel Bilson have reportedly hit a rough patch. The stars of “The O.C.” fell in love while working on the show, and it “looked like they were on their way to getting engaged just a little while back,” a source told Star, but “are going through a really difficult period right now.” One reason, according to the insider, may be because of Bilson’s friendship with Zach Braff, her co-star from “The Last Kiss.” “Zach calls Rachel a lot and they talk on the phone like girlfriends,” says the insider. "But what really eats away at Adam is when Rachel starts talking about how mature Zach is. No guy appreciates his girlfriend comparing him to another guy.” . .

The star of “The Simple Life” also says that there’s nothing about the friendship that she misses. “We haven’t been friends in about three years,” Richie told talk show host Tyra Banks, explaining that she and Hilton’s friendship had actually ended a couple of years before Hilton announced it. She denied rumors that the two parted ways when Richie hosted a viewing of Hilton’s infamous sex tape, explaining, “There was no falling out. We’re just not the same people.”
She also blasted buzz that she’s going to reconcile on-air, saying, “That would be just stupid.” Richie also addressed the issue of her weight, flatly denying that she has anorexia or bulimia — and insisted that her thinness is due to nerves. She acknowledged that she needs to pack on a few pounds, but when asked how many, says she doesn’t know, explaining, “I don’t own a scale.”
Jaime Pressly and her DJ beau, Eric Cubiche, wanted Us to be the first to know the good news: "We're going this weekend to [Beverly Hills jewelry store] XIV Karats to design my engagement ring," the My Name Is Earl star, 29, told Us on September 21. "I'm really looking forward to it." Though they only started dating a year ago, "Eric's been my best friend for nine years, It's one of those things where when you're ready, you're ready. And we are."

The death of Anna Nicole Smith's 20-year-old son Daniel was caused by a lethal combination of methadone, Zoloft and Lexapro, pathologist Cyril Wecht has revealed to PEOPLE exclusively.
Wecht said the drugs caused the cardiac dysrhythmia that led to Daniel's death. Wecht got the toxicology results from National Medical Services in Willow Grove, Pa., today.
Daniel Smith died in his mother's hospital room Sept. 10 while visiting her in the Bahamas three days after she gave birth to a baby girl named Dannielynn Hope.
Smith's longtime lawyer, Howard K. Stern, revealed Tuesday that he is the father of the little girl.

After 18 months of did-they-or-didn't they debate, Jackass Number Two star Bam Margera confirmed once and for all that he and Jessica Simpson did.
On Howard Stern's September 19 Sirius radio show, the wild prankster, 27, confessed to Stern that on the night of April 11, 2005, then-married Simpson took him back to her parents’ home in Los Angeles’ Encino area: “We were just drinking margaritas and stuff, and you know, from there…” When Stern asked how Simpson looked naked, Margera told him, “She looked good.”
“Once,” he said, when asked by a reporter how many times he and Simpson had been intimate. “It was when her parents were away and Nick was away. It’s not a secret." How is Simpson’s camp taking the news? “As a father, I want to go beat the crap out of people who say things like this,” Jessica’s dad/manager, Joe, tells Us Magazine. “It really hurts to hear people say things like this about my daughter.”
Still, some of Margera’s raunchiness may have rubbed off on the 26-year-old single star. During a recent interview in Allure magazine, the former virgin bride wore a rooster pendant and joked, “I don’t have a c--k at the moment, so I wear one around my neck.”
Lindsay Lohan is finally checking out of the famed Chateau Marmont hotel and moving into an apartment she purchased just down the street. The star bought a luxury suite in the Sierra Towers building just a few blocks down on the Sunset Strip, but even after extensive renovations she remained at the posh hotel. According to New York Post's Page Six, hotel managers want to evict their most famous resident after more than a year of disruptions and late night partying. Lohan has reportedly taken her apartment off the market and decided to move in herself after having difficulty selling it at the $2.85 million asking price. According to a source, the apartment wasn't sold because, "It was on the wrong side of the hill with no views. Lindsay will stay part-time at the Chateau for another month before moving out completely."
TV geek Dustin Diamond can now take his place with Colin Farrell, Tommy Lee and Kid Rock as the star of his very own sex tape. Everyone who remembers Diamond as a lovable putz is in for a shock once they see a 40-minute video in which he engages in a kinky three-way with two women. We can't get too graphic here, but word is that the action includes some bodily functions and an act known as a "Dirty Sanchez."
Phoenix-based agent David Hans Schmidt, who has brokered some of Hollywood's biggest celebrity-skin deals, confirms that he's acquired the rights to a tape featuring Diamond. "Just when you think you have seen everything in this business," he tells us, "mankind has raised the bar another notch. Or lowered it." Schmidt is in L.A., shopping the tape to Hustler's Larry Flynt, Vivid's Steven Hirsch and other major distributors of adult video.The sex vid's working title is "Saved by the Smell." Ewwwww.
Howard K. Stern, Anna Nicole Smith’s longtime lawyer, said Tuesday that he's the "proud father" of her baby girl, who was born three days before her son Daniel passed away unexpectedly in the Bahamas. "It's been very rough," Stern told CNN’s Larry King Live on Tuesday. "She said that she didn't want to trade out children, meaning she didn't want one to be born and another to die."
Daniel, 20, died suddenly on September 10 while visiting his mother in the maternity ward of the Doctor’s Hospital in the Bahamas. Stern, who was in Anna Nicole’s hospital room the night Daniel passed away, told host Larry King they had named their daughter Dannie Lynn Hope. Stern's daughter with Anna Nicole is "the one thing that is really keeping her going," he said. "And through it all, even with all the pain, she has been a great mom, a very attentive mom." The lawyer was a common presence on Anna Nicole’s reality show, where he also served as her confidant and friend.
“Anna and I have been in a relationship and we love each other and it’s been going on for a very long time." Stern explained, "Because of my relationship as her lawyer, we felt that it was best to keep everything hidden.” Stern told King that he and Anna Nicole Smith planned to stay in the Bahamas long term, so they could escape the media, start a new life and give their daughter a chance to live a normal life.
When King asked if Stern planned to marry Anna Nicole, he answered, "I've loved her for quite some time and hopefully the feeling's mutual. At some point, we will. Right now we have to somehow get through what we're going through." Photojournalist Larry Birkhead sent a statement to CNN countering Stern’s paternity claim, saying, "I've been told by Anna Nicole Smith that I'm the father of her newborn child. I have proof of it…I am requesting that a DNA test take place in the United States."
”Does it give you concern that there might be a shot that the DNA might exclude you?” King asked Stern after reading Birkhead’s statement. “Or is there no doubt that you're the father?” ”I think based on the timing of it, that there shouldn't be a doubt,” Stern replied. As for the mysterious circumstances behind Daniel’s death, authorities have ruled out suicide or foul play, and they are awaiting toxicology results to determine the cause of death. "We're still waiting to find out what the cause is," Stern said. "We also now have an indication that there may have been other prescriptive medication in his system."
A rapper's wife gave birth Thursday, but the scene quickly turned to tragedy after the newborn was pronounced dead.

Justine's pregnancy was the cliffhanger on the MTV show last season. It generated intense interest among viewers who have been anxiously following the pregnancy and awaiting the birth.
Simmons, a member of the legendary rap group Run DMC, was at Valley Hospital in Ridgewood New Jersey Tuesday for the birth of his child. Doctors delivered the baby via c-section, revealing a cruel twist of fate -- the baby was born with organs outside the body. The newborn died a short time later.
MTV cameras were inside the hospital at the time of the birth, though we do not know if they were in the delivery room.
The Los Angeles City Attorney filed misdemeanor charges Tuesday, in connection with Hilton's arrest earlier this month. The heiress, who was driving her pricey Mercedes McLaren SLR, was pulled over in Hollywood after police spotted her driving erratically. Cops administered a field sobriety test, and Paris blew a .08. In California, driving with a .08 blood alcohol level is the minimum level for DUI.
Hilton was charged with driving under the influence and driving with a .08 blood alcohol level or higher. The charges carry a maximum jail term of six months, however, it is standard practice to give first offenders probation, as well as a license restriction. Typically, first offenders are also required to attend AA meetings.

"Happy Hour," while not officially cancelled by Fox, is off the schedule. And while FOX insists the show is not cancelled....it's definitely on life support. So...stay tuned. Believe it or not I actually watched that show and kinda liked it. Dammit!
CNN had the following statement on their news ticker on Monday: "Lionel Richie says he is not happy about his daughters pencil thin figure and neither is Nicole Richie, today she has checked into rehab for an eating disorder."
However, Nicole has responded to the claims on her MySpace page, posting a statement that says, "Contrary to CNN's false accusations, I did not check myself into an eating disorder rehab. I dont know why or how this rumor started, but i am home, in LA, and very happy. I do not have an eating disorder, and I don't know how many times I have to say it. Ive repeated myself so many times, I feel like a broken record. Who ever started this rumor is evil and mean, but its not true. I am happy, and healthy, and living my life."
